We evaluate fish with attention to condition, body shape, behavior, variety or species accuracy, and the reputation and consistency of the source.

Livestock is assessed after arrival and during quarantine. Fish that need more observation should not be rushed into the shipping schedule.

We aim to describe species, varieties, sizes, and sales formats clearly. Natural variation is expected, particularly when a listing uses representative rather than WYSIWYG photography.

We prioritize fish that fit the Discus Direct™ specialty focus and can be supported with useful care and compatibility information.

Suppliers, breeding results, shipping outcomes, customer feedback, and fish performance all contribute to future sourcing decisions.
