Before You Shop
Decide which species fits your aquarium's adult capacity, temperature, water conditions, and community. Research the fish before comparing prices.
Choose a Specialist
A strong online seller should explain livestock, care, shipping, arrival procedures, and support clearly. Specialty knowledge matters when buying sensitive or uncommon fish.
Read the Listing
Confirm species or variety, approximate size, whether photography is representative or WYSIWYG, and any special care requirements.
Prepare for Delivery
Have the aquarium ready, monitor tracking, and make sure the package can be received promptly. Do not schedule major tank maintenance for delivery day.
Inspect & Acclimate
Inspect immediately, document any arrival issue, and follow appropriate acclimation guidance. Keep the environment calm while the fish recover from transit.
Build Long-Term Success
Good purchasing decisions continue after arrival: stable water, suitable food, compatible tankmates, observation, and appropriate aquarium space determine long-term success.
